We aRe HER Leadership Academy is a leadership and economic empowerment organization dedicated to helping youth, women, families, entrepreneurs, and seniors discover their potential, develop practical skills, access critical resources, and become leaders who positively impact their communities.

Through our DEEM Framework—Develop, Equip, Empower, and Mentor—we create pathways that help individuals move from uncertainty to confidence, from survival to stability, and from participants to leaders.

OUR STORY

Founded in 2017 by entrepreneur, community leader, and mentor Latasha Cummings, We aRe HER Leadership Academy was created to address a growing need within our communities.

​

Through decades of business ownership, mentorship, workforce development, and community service, Latasha witnessed a common challenge: people often possessed talent, passion, and potential but lacked the confidence, skills, resources, or support necessary to move forward.

​

What began as a mission to empower women and girls has grown into a comprehensive leadership and economic empowerment organization serving youth, women, families, entrepreneurs, and seniors throughout North Texas.

Today, We aRe HER provides leadership development, educational programming, mentorship, community resources, and entrepreneurial support designed to create lasting transformation.
